Teeth whitening? Weight loss? Money making? Baby making, and many other immoral ones! What’s up with this new outbreak of SPAM in my blog?
You don’t see them among other comments because every single day I’ve got to delete at least 2 spam comments. Annoying!
Do you get them too?

I get all of those, except they are blocked by Askimet and hence remain in the spam folder/area 🙂

Yah I have Askimet too and I’m so grateful for it. But these spams suddenly started appearing from no-where like ants over an open candy jar. I only started using “tags” recently, could that be the source?

WordPress is supposed to be the safest, I wonder if that’s actually true now! It’s not that bad because all spam gets deceted and goes into a folder, but it’s annoying.

my wordpress blocks with them with Askimet – perhaps they have a new gadget / or are sending it all manually.

Yah I do have askimet too and it’s doing a wonderful job. I was just wondering as to why, spam suddenly appeared like rockets on war..

I never get them in my blog. I think it is because of the commenting syatem. You see, WordPress uses the easier but more vulnerable way.
When commenting at Jeeran, you need to provide an alphanumeric code given by an image. Its a bit more complicated to comment, but you never get the spam.

I think it has something to do with “tags”. I only recently started tagging my posts. I stopped tagging in the last 3 posts and I noticed the showeing of spams has stopped.
